Terms of business

Adminmate is a subscription, monthly or yearly. Solo Lite: £49 a month or £490 a year, no phone line. Solo: £99 a month or £990 a year, with a phone line. Team Lite: £89 a month or £890 a year, no phone line, up to 10 people. Team: £169 a month or £1,690 a year, with a phone line, up to 10 people. The price shown is the total price payable: Mitigate It Limited is not VAT registered, so nothing is added.

Yearly is ten months' price for the year. It is not a twelve-month commitment: cancel part way through and the unused part is refunded, the same as monthly.

There is no contract period and no notice period. You can cancel in one tap from your settings, and nothing more is charged.

Each plan comes with a fair use allowance, printed on the pricing page rather than hidden here. Going over it never cuts you off. We ring you and talk about the right plan.

Adminmate is intended for use by businesses and professionals. You confirm when subscribing that you are acquiring and using the service for purposes relating mainly to your trade, business, craft or profession.

On Solo and Team, Adminmate answers your calls, books work into hours you have opened, drafts your quotes and invoices, and chases unpaid invoices, within limits you control.

Solo Lite and Team Lite provide the non-telephone features: the assistant works from your texts, WhatsApp and the app to book work, draft your quotes and invoices and chase unpaid invoices. A Lite plan has no phone line: no number is provided and no calls are answered or recorded.

Anything that commits your money, your diary or your word waits for your approval unless you have switched that step to run without asking. The switches are in your settings and every action is on your activity log.

Your business runs on your judgement, not ours. Adminmate is not your accountant, your solicitor or your insurer, and its drafts do not replace professional advice on tax or law.

Where your plan includes a phone line: when you ring your assistant, or your staff do, that call may be recorded and transcribed to operate, secure and improve the Adminmate service. We do not use your calls to train AI models. It is the same recording and transcription described in the privacy notice, and the same retention applies.

Where your plan includes a phone line, calls from your customers to your business line carry their own spoken notice at the start of the call, so the person ringing you is told before they tell us anything.

Tell your staff. They are using your assistant on your account, and this is the term that covers them.

We may offer you a 14 day free trial of an Adminmate plan by arrangement with us. A trial is not available automatically to every visitor to the website.

Your trial begins when you complete the signup or payment process, either using the signup or payment link we provide or by giving us your payment details on the telephone. The trial lasts for 14 days. No subscription charge is made during the trial.

When you start the trial, payment details are provided to our payment provider, Stripe. You may enter them yourself through Stripe's payment page. Alternatively, if you choose the telephone setup route, you may provide your card details verbally and an authorised member of our team may enter them directly into Stripe's authorised payment interface during the call. We do not write down, copy, store or enter full card details into Adminmate.

Unless you cancel before the end of the trial, your chosen plan will automatically become a paid subscription at the price shown at signup from the day after the trial ends. The first charge will be taken automatically using the payment method you provided.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. If you cancel during the trial, the trial ends and no subscription charge will be taken.

Before the first charge, we will send reasonable reminders, including the date and amount of the charge and how to cancel. These reminders do not replace your right to cancel through your account.

A trial is limited to one 14 day trial per account or email address unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account.

Cancellation takes effect immediately. Your access to the service will cease when cancellation takes effect, subject to the read only access we provide for the purpose of downloading your data.

If you have paid in advance for a period extending beyond the moment of cancellation, we will refund the unused part of that period on a pro rata basis. The refund is calculated by reference to the subscription price paid for the relevant billing period and the unused portion of that period, measured from the effective cancellation timestamp to the end of the prepaid billing period.

Where a refund is due, we will normally issue it through Stripe to the original payment method used for the subscription. Refunds are subject to the rules of the relevant payment provider and card issuer. Adminmate cannot send a card refund to a different card or bank account.

If that payment method has expired, been replaced or been cancelled, the relevant card issuer or payment provider may determine how the refund is credited. If Stripe reports that a refund has failed, we may contact you to arrange the appropriate next step.

Your data is yours. You can download the lot before or after you cancel, and it stays available to you, read only, for 90 days from cancellation, after which it is handled in accordance with our privacy notice and retention schedule.
